Rolling into sunset:
We’re almost there guys! What was suppose to be a two part blog has ultimately been extended to 3. Thank you to those that reached out to show their love and support of the last entry. I didn’t get to touch on everything I wanted but I think I got most of what I wanted to talk about.
This section may be a bit shorter than the last (in terms of story telling) which im sure you’re all excited about but the photo content will still remain pretty heavy. Lets get into it.
This MK4 golf took showstopper to another level. Now it may not everyone’s flavor it was definitely a head turner.
This was one of the reasons I ran out after the awards. Seeing the crown speed lab s2000 parked was a treat but to watch it roll out of the venue was defined the term Art In Motion.
Another one of Massachusetts own leaving the venue. A very special moment capturing Yasu of Exceed Japan saying his farewells to _Mugenizer_. Its awesome to see that this (over the span of 10 or so years) continues to evolve.
Classic recipe for a classic chassis.
Regamasters for everyone! With the release of the Evo II’s people have been hopping on this iconic set everywhere. It’s hard not to though, who doesn’t like a classic 5 spoke wheel?
“ Lisa Ann” showing off her goods
Although this was cool, don’t be this guy at the show.
Another hitter from the tough club camp. I don’t remember seeing it in the show, looks like he may have showed up to meet up with the rest of the guys.
Jorgie’s NSX casually parked away from the rest of the crowd. So much flavor for such a subtle car.
Loading up Mugenizer onto the trailer for the journey back home. Im surprised it made it up on a uhaul trailer at that height. The guards in the middle of those trailers aren’t that forgiving.
There wasn’t much more to it after the roll out. We regrouped at the hotel and stopped at the famous WAWA’s gas station for some fuel and snacks for the ride back.
Wekfest wasn’t what I expected at all in terms of experience. I had an idea of what kind of builds were showing up to this event but the people are what surprised me. I’ve made some really great connections within a few hours. To me that was worth the drive alone. It wont be long until we hit New Jersey again, maybe a few weeks. Until then the next stop is a local car show. Look out for that post coming later this week. Aloha!
