Night Stage Invitational

Looking back at this past year, I wish I could blame COVID for the lack of released content. As it turned out, the only thing that stopped me from posting was pure lack of imagination. I covered several events this year—as safely as possible—and I’ve got a ton of photos, I just haven’t been able to pair them with the right words. In an ideal world, each article I write does every photo justice; I’ve been looking for the right words to say, but I’m my own worst critic. As the year progresses, and I’ve done a lot of reflecting, it is clear there are not always “the right words,” there are only the words that come out. With that being said, 2022 will keep me busy with posting the highest quality content I’ve got, alongside the reboot of my podcast, so stay tuned and stay stoked.
Pit Walk :
This blog entry will be a bit different. There won’t a long story attached to it, just some side comments on some of my favorite shots. I do have to say that this event ended up being way more fun than the main event happening the next day. The weather was beautiful, the music was bumping, and the vibes were chill.
Jimmy Oakes Jz powered S13 coupe
Grant Anderson’s JZX90 : One of my favorite cars in the paddock that weekend.
Sammy’s SR powered S13 hatchback fitted with a Spirit Rei kit made its debut.
Niko and David of Auto Real Dream with two different generations of the 86.
Simba Nyemba’s SR powered S13 coupe : I finally got to see one of midwest’s street legends in the flesh. There are many S chassis’s set up in a similar fashion but this car carried a special aura.
Patrick Prendergast ‘s FC3S - I don’t know the exact details of this car but I do know that it is in fact an original Sexy Knights Car out of Tomoya’s personal collection.
