Staggered Auto Show at Thompson Speedway

As the season comes to an end, a popular way for enthusiasts to send off the year is by participating in end-of-season meets. One of these tail end shows is Staggered Auto Show, and it has a reputation for being one of the best in the area. I’ll admit, this was a last-minute operation for me, but I was lucky to link up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in a couple of years, Kris Osgood, and cruise over to Thompson together. Kris was formerly known for his nice stanced SF5 Subaru Forester, but since then he has driven several cars before ultimately finding this turbo NA Miata.
Kris’s Miata outfitted with a flying Miata turbo kit, an OEM hard top, and some Gram Lights 57 Dr’s.
Kris’s interior isn’t exactly made for comfort. This drift car fulfills its purpose while barely remaining street legal.
A pristine S13 coupe caught my eye as soon as I walked through the gates. I’ve seen this car in the pits during Lock City sessions, but I never took the change to appreciate it up close. The chrome Te37’s are on my list of dream wheels.
With the prices of Sr20s soaring, turbo KA’s are starting to be a common sighting.
Trent hard parking his Gray Cressida.
Keira flexing the purple machine.
Tanner showcased his garage built Impreza wagon. Everything from the molded metal flares to the plexi-glass scoop delete was beautifully done.
