Lock City Drift Season Ender

Author/Photos : Tj Sanethong

To keep the momentum going is coverage of the last event Lock City Drift event of the season. I normally skip this one because most of the cars are put away but some of my friends decided to get one more in before winter hit. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a spot in C group to drive which gave my the opportunity to shoot the paddock at dawn. It didn’t last long because I don’t do well in cold weather. Regardless of the cold conditions it was still a blast. I’ll drop a few comments under the photos so I don’t bore you all with a wild drawn out story. Enjoy!

Everyone keeps saying the ZN6/ZC6 may be the new S chassis. I think it might be better

It was awesome to see a good friend of mine Kris Osgood return to drifting after a small hiatus. I believe it was his second event this year in four years but it didn’t take long for him to get comfortable again.

Ryan Barry came down from somewhere in New York to drive in his super clean 86.

Paolo Lim returns with his 180sx. Arguably the best representation of Japanese drifting style on and off the track that day.

More New York friends Marvin & Amar showed up to join the party.

Amar’s car is rough around the edges, but don’t let that fool you. This 1JZ powered monster gets rowdy!

Devin, the bully of all bullies came down to show us how to smack cones and never lift. Despite the cold track conditions he and the rest of the crew drove really well.

From Midpond back to Thompson Kyle Ready came to party with his Low Style E36. He ended the season with a bump up into A group.
