Harvest Moon

Welcome to Lock City Drift’s Harvest Moon event. It is typically the last event of the year but it was a little different this year. We didn’t know it at the time, but this would be the second to last event of the year as a December event would surprise us a few weeks later which I was able to drive thankfully. For this event I sat out because I dropped the ball on trying to get a slot to drive. So instead of staying home, I thought I would go support some of my friends driving. I also wanted to see what people were doing differently on the skid pad. I dusted off the camera after a long hiatus and took off to one of the best places in Connecticut, Thompson Speedway.

Jordan of Nightstyle hard parked in the pits. The Garage Vary kit does this car so much justice. Gt Style aero is always cool.

Another crowd favorite among the Miata drivers in the northeast is Marc of Drift Team Boyfriend. Marc’s car has always had an aura around it. It definitely looks like it belongs in Sekia Hills.

Devin finally returned! He’s had a few string of bad luck prior to this event but somehow managed to pull it together for this event with a whole new color.

Everlong!

Speaking of of Aura, Matt’s corolla coupe carried that all day long. This was definitely one of my favorite cars of the day.

Conditions were less than ideal for drivers as it was cold and patchy but Devin was doing well and showing us that the stock torsen differential can work.

THAT BOY THICCC!

Tanner brought his rear wheel drive swapped Impreza wagon to play! Yes it still has an Ej series motor and Yes it is bagged!

It was really great to finally see him out here. We talked about this day for a long time and it finally came to fruition.

Matt and Tyler of Everlong Drifts were going heavy with the tandems. It was really fun to watch them drive together.

Henry Sorenson showing his focused face.

Jack Sorenson laying doing solid laps.

Ready to attack the pad!

As the day went on, the track started to dry up and the drivers started heating up.

Night Style stacked up!

Twin Hatches!

The sun was out but the wind picked up making it so much colder! Speaking of cold, Drift Team Boyfriend was out giving us 2023 Sekia Hills!
