Season Opener

Welcome back to the blog! I haven’t completed forgot about this passion project. I just haven’t had the time and energy to put towards this side of my life. I am happy to report back with new content though. There are a few articles brewing in the back that will be rolled out in the coming months. One of them being a series on the build up of the Capsule Co. demo car aka my personal drift car. I have a bunch of content to go through and plenty to talk about so it’s going to be a little while before that gets released. The other projects are still in its infant stages but will be teased once it progresses.
In the mean time, I have a collection of photos that need to be shared with you all. A few of them will be photo dumps with comments scattered through out the post. The longer personal stories will be coming down the pipeline. It will be worth the wait I promise. Until then i’ll do my best to be more active on Capsule Co.’s website and Instagram. Have a great day and enjoy the Lock City Drift season opener.
Jason Ferron of Keep It Reet traveled all the way from the land down under. I am not familiar with him, his content or the plans he has in the states, but it was super cool to see him out here with his R31 Skyline.
Nick of Drift Team High Tide’s GT86 tucked away for the day.
Seamus from Total Chassis Solutions brought one of the coolest cars to the event. What you see here is a K series Honda engine in a Scion FR-S. I heard murmurs that this car was somewhat last minute, as in it was put together 10 days prior to the event.
Jordan of Night Style back to show everyone the power of the BP4W.
Ralphy of Diamond Cut brought his beloved 86 corolla. Its always a treat to see this car in the pits, but its a whole other experience to watch him drive it on track.
HIGH TIDE!
Garretts freshly rebuilt SR20 came into the season for a shakedown.
I have been trying to improve the way I capture movement lately. I must say its really difficult but when you get it down its really rewarding. Here are a few of my favorites.
Zac of Nightstyle bringing the heat!
Pontiac GTO’s have always been in the back of my mind. This one in particularly caught my eye from a distance. I don’t think this is a factory color, but it should be because it is absolutely gorgeous.
I love shooting skid pad because its challenging. You never really know what you’re going to get. There are plenty of vantage points to take advantage of and the random shake up of skill level keeps you on your toes. Clubhouse is great but its a bit oversaturated in photographers for good reason.
Jimmy Oakes on the run up!
What made Jason’s already unique R31 even more wild was the powerplant. What you see here is an inline 6 from a car we did not get in the states, a Ford Barra.
Daniel back at it again with the white vans! (I hope you guys get the reference)
